Perhaps my favorite of the classic hymns, especially as performed by Kristyn Getty; "It Is Well With My Soul" is written in gold metallic heat-transfer vinyl underneath a four-paneled painting of an old white church in a country setting. The scene is idyllic, but remember that the song (and the Bible) reassures us that, in Christ, we can be certain that whether storms of life billow or we have peace like a river- It is well with our soul because we have entrusted it to Christ.
